I have a special revolver that I wanted to show you. This is

a revolver we built especially for a hunt coming up later on this fall. The gun is a special one that I designed especially for this hunt or for any hunt where dangerous game might crop up.
The gun is based on my large beefy stretch frame. The cartridge is my 430 GNR. The 429 GNR is my favorite revolver cartridge and this one is even more special and even more the perfect revolver for dangerous game. The barrel is a beefy 8½" long including the muzzle brake. I wanted it this length for an African hunt as the new rules say 8" or more. The gun is drilled and tapped for a Leupold base and rings. It has the Magnum gripframe which gives you a bit more room for your hand. It has a set of Mongolian stag grips made and fit to it. The gun is finished in our soft satin Vapor Honed finish for no glare or shine. The gun has had the Positive Performance Package done to it and is super smooth and accurate too. The cylinder is a heavy duty 5 shot cylinder to handle the pressure of the 430 GNR.
