got in from Florida Tuesday, took care of some dog stuff, and left a few minutes ago back to Florida. Left here at 5PM, arrives in Sarasota at noon tomorrow. Then all the death stuff to take care of, church stuff, death certificate, coroners stuff, the cremation of her brother and try to take care of the elderly parents, one of which has terminal cancer. What a mess. Any of you guys that are over 40, if you have parents, take care of all the death stuff, take it off their backs and make it easier on them. That is the best thing you can do to show you care.

Amen Gary.

I got my Dad and Mom a cremation policy while they were still able to make decisions and know what was going on. When they passed, with each one we made one phone call and everything was handled.

Made it easier for them knowing it was all arranged and paid for. Easier for the family as we did not have to do hardly anything.

All my guys have left and it's just me and the pups

I plan on going to my back door, open the door wide and, at the top of my voice yell..SHEIT! and hope someone complains.

I had a friend going through some hard things ...

stepped out on his porch and yelled, "Jesus! I thank you for helping me." His neighbors called the cops on him.

You might as well laugh at irony...

It is a waste of time to try and figure things out, an impossible task. We have been studying Psalms in Sunday school. David was really heartbroken and perplexed at being on the lamb from the lunatic King Saul. He didn't deserve any of the trouble that befell him, and it upset him, even though he completely trusted God.

It was God's supreme will and he could not know it had a very important purpose. It was hardening him, tempering his cunning, patience, and endurance, while still showing him he needed to not depend on his own thinking but God's, through constant prayer. David wrote most of the Psalms (songs) to teach people and record how to maintain a proper relationship and always depend on God. He wasn't perfect, and all of his biggest troubles can be traced to his deviation to his own intellect while stepping away from God's direction. Some 3500+ years later it is still a blueprint for our living and all we need to do is follow it.

Sorry Gary and Colleen

She has had a huge shit sandwich. Hard for anyone.
Take care of her and make sure you don't draw back a nub.
My prayers are with all of y'all.

I don't know about the rock part. She is the one

doing all the 12 hour flights back and forth and taking care of older parents, one of which has terminal cancer and may cause her to do all this again in a few months.
All I am doing is taking care of almost 2 dozen Jack Russells, taking care of 2 machine shops and a gun shop, plus a long list of smaller things. But I do these things every day so it is no big deal. I would rather do all these than do half of what she is doing.
But thanks for the rock bit.
