Opinions of the CZ scorpion please.

say mnffgetinvdgvskuhrnmopey which translates to I have never seen a bad CZ. They just make good chit. Now as far as the Scorpion EVO I wonder at the usefulness of it. It is a small compact 9mm similar to a 9mm subgun with a 7" barrel. Now if you live in the land of bad guys and ugly women and you have a few bucks to spare than jump on it. For home defense it would be mediocre at best. If it is dark, someone has kicked in your front door and you are scared shitless and start spraying where you think the bad guy or guys are then you will run out of ammo pretty quick, then what.
Right now AR-15s are cheap. As a home defense weapon I think I would go with an AR pistol with one of those evil stocks, a red dot and a 30 round mag. This way if the wife has to use it she can handle it with no problem. Plus putting a red dot on the bad guy's chest will get his attention real quick and he may retreat pronto with no blood on your wife's floor.
The CZ EVO is a good little gun but a bit complicated when you have been awakened from a sound sleep and you can't remember your first wife's name. On the other hand if you have a rich uncle that just kicked off and are rolling in some greenbacks, then go for it and enjoy life while you can.

reliable, never have had a jam. Stock trigger is workable, but is somewhat heavy. Just received aftermarket Timney trigger, have not installed it yet. Like Gary said CZ makes quality guns. Can highly recommend the Carbine Model i have with 16" barrel, very nice gun.
