in the Fall and were eating prickly pear fruit. The meat was sweet and tender.

Sweet from berries or fishy etc. I tried some of the bear taken in AK back in 2010. We baked it for several hours and it simply tasted like roast beef to me. A little more greasy but it was good. Lots better than Possum.

Now if that bear attacked and ate the well endowed blonde next door and you killed it and made steaks out of it, what would the steaks taste like? And I would never ask this question of WB (Scott Boggs) and just barely of Alcorn Russell.
