her wish list. usually she grabs it, yelling "mine mine mine" and puts it in the safe. Today was one of those days. A small estate came in and she ended up with a nearly mint Colt Trooper MK III, 357 magnum. One of the rare 6" nickle guns. The gun is in at least 95% as new and shot very little and a keeper for sure. Even the grips are "as new".

Sunday. I think , there’s a whole lot just playing at being Christian. It’s important to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, not a church.
We went to the church in the country yesterday for the first time in a long time! The priest said this: “remember, it is about a relationship with Jesus Christ, not a priest,a pastor, a bishop, a cardinal, or a pope!”
It was absolutely amazing.
“If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Father in heaven. “
Smart woman that Colleen.

There were an unusual number of new old stock MkIII Troopers let loose. They must have found a old pallet of them at the factory or a big distributor. I remember a couple of distributors folded up about then too. Lots of nickel guns, most versions were 6” or 8” (!) in .22LR and .22 WMR. I ordered a couple for friends. They were not cheap but brand new. I think around $400 dealer when a new Redhawk was less!
I had 2 Troopers I got in an estate sale. One was

an 8" nickel and the other a 6" blued Trooper. One was in 22 Magnum, the other 22 LR. I couldn't get any accuracy out of either one. I ruined any collector value they had by drilling and tapping and mounting a scope on both. Still couldn't get any accuracy, so they went down the road. Here is the blued one. Old picture so a bit hazy.
.
And the nickel gun.

The 8" nickel gun would probably be worth something these days, even drilled and tapped.
