Was able to pick up my Half Breed yesterday...
I am absolutely astounded by this revolver. The grip is amazing. I had no idea what I was getting into, but as always, the thing is amazing. Of course the fit and finish is out of this world and I'm going to have to look up another word for smooth to describe the action. When I picked it up there were a couple of guys in the LGS, they had to clean the drool off the counter glass after a few had inspected it. Can not wait to get to the gun club this week to run it through its paces and bring it to the HHC. Thanks Gary for another fine firearm for my collection.

Gary, splain that Half-Breed grip!
It looks like a blend of the Gunfighter and No.5 gripframe, sort of, with a Bisley trigger and guard. Maybe a wide spur hammer off a Super BH? What all is going on here?! I'm looking forward to Coon-fingering one in person.
It is just like the name implies, a Half Breed
I took 3 gripframes and cut and welded 2 of them into one and added a different trigger guard to them. I changed the trigger guard so we could put a set back trigger into the new gripframe. I played with material until it felt good in the hand and let it go at that. I guarantee there won't be another like it. Roy Huntington, the head honcho of American Handgunner magazine said it is the first completely new gripframe since 1930.
Actually I think it is the second new gripframe as our Lawman gripframe that we started building from scratch and came up with, totally new gripframe.

This gripframe, which we came up with almost 6 years ago is already being used by another gun company.
One of the things about the Half Breed gripframe is it isn't easy to build one so maybe nobody else will adopt it as theirs.
