Reeder Custom Guns - RIP Ed Brown

Sad to report another icon gone. I know some people say he could be rough and crude but he did do a lot for 1911s and we are diminished by his passing. I will say every time I spoke to him and n the phone he was polite and very helpful. Gary, John, Jim and all you other icons need to take care of yourselves, we can’t afford to keep losing them

be a bit snippy with some customers. If a customer has a problem with his gun I will do my best to help him as I don't want a gun out there with my name on it that won't work. BUT when a customer calls and starts yelling and calling me names as soon as I answer the phone then I will let the bulldog loose. I have an Irish temper that I very seldom lose but when I do I tend to be rough and crude and may say something about his fat sister and the donkey she rode on.
As far as being an icon, hell I don't even know what an icon is. But if I am one then I will try to stay alive a bit longer. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to say about that, but I have vowed to outlive 5 ex wives.
