are using it for small calibers or handgun applications. drops it to 8" long. I'm still new to suppressors and having had to scrape crap from rimfire units I like the idea of being able to take it apart and even manufacturing or modding new guts for it. The tube is the actual unit in that application.
However, I really value your experiences and any deviations on my part usually are motivated just to be different, and see. lol I really liked the unit on your AR9. Mine has too short a barrel (4") and/or the handguard is too close for easy gripping. I have to use a blast can to extend it to the end. I can't even mount a good hand stop (the slots and can don't jive well) and sure don't want to pop a hand or lose a finger! The handguard is too small diameter to fit a typical suppressor inside it. But it's a cute little thing.
