have been shot while being mauled. Everyone is running on adrenaline and it's a mass of bodies flying about. I read of an event in Africa, with a Lion I think, where a hunter accidentally "shot" the guide with a .458! And it was only a flesh wound!!! But he got the animal off the guy.
What a situation, getting your ass mauled while your overly excited "hunter" points his elephant gun at you! But like Jerry Clower famously stated, paraphrased "shoot amoungst us, one of us needs some relief". lol
