The last 30 days, there has been a fox getting into my wife's henhouse. Usually takes a chicken or two. Two days ago, she moved 65 2 month old chickens to what we call the nursery. It is built almost bullet proof but something got in to it last night and killed all 65 of them. I don't know fox behavior, does this sound like a fox? The only things that I know that kill for sport are wolves, us, and cats. What kind of aproblem do you think I have?

Describe the scene.

Just the heads gone. Probably raccoon.
No bones left. Probably a fox.
None eaten. Probably a weasel.
Mauled and the abdomen eaten. Probably a possum.
Carcass covered with dirt. Probably a bobcat.
You would smell a skunk.

My guess would be a weasel as they kill just

I had considered a weasel from the size of the hole it dug.
