was sighted for the 300 gr. bullet at 1100/1200 fps. I took all the guts out of the rear sight ... made a steel insert in place of the windage spring. Filed it until it was hitting center. Then I Superglued the whole affair internally. I don't want my sights moving, especially for a hunting gun. I have one load I used for hunting and never messed with the sights after that .. for the last .. oh .. maybe 30 years.

The front sight is marked for 200 yards.
