"push feed" that you don't see too many. If you work the bolt very slow on purpose, about half-way into the chamber the round literally jumps clean out of the mag and gun. But it's not made to do that, worked as intended it feeds slick as glass. They had these flimsy folding rear sights on a good looking island and almost invisible teeny front sight. The "pad" was just that also, a 1/4" thick hard red rubber pad. I liked the tang safety myself.

It's a pretty nice rifle with all these things fixed. Recoil is a long firm kinetic push. Not bad at all.
