In AR woods often times of year it’s illegal to have a handgun bigger than a .22 WMR. I guess a short shotgun is good but #4 shot or smaller. Anything else and you can be accused of poaching!

I shot Andy’s MP 5.7x28 and Kel-tec .22 Mag side by side. The 5.7 has maybe a 300 fps advantage. But what a screwed up cartridge. Bullets glued in the cases, blow back pressures. It shot good but the trigger would need getting used to. I’m game for most anything but loading for this one is an act of folly.

I think I need one of those Kel-tecs! I know Irv and Denning have them. So light and easy to shoot, good sights, and 30 rd mags! Not exactly bear medicine but you could make lots of noise! Cool fireball and even a bit of recoil, snappy and fun. Weighs about the same as a Buck folding knife, for the trail kit.

to my daughter and kept the other. They are real mystical handguns. They weigh nothing but hold 30 rounds and seem to function every brand the same. I wouldn't give up my 45 ACPs but it is nice to have one around.

My AMT Auto Mag 2 is a 22 Magnum but is very picky about ammo. The only ammo mine likes is the red box Federal 22 Magnum.

I have one of the RIA 22 Magnums. It is much like a 1911 in the hand and with the right ammo functions fine. But it doesn't hold 30 rounds.

The Kel Tec just doesn't feel like a real handgun.
