we were discussing below a few threads that WB needs a good shotgun that does not hide in camo or orange plastic, Gary always a fan of the SKB line of work, as am I especially the older models, here is the perfect gun for Scott, A bit of steel wool and some cold blue and you have the perfect hunting rig

The Greener top locking actions. Cherrys Fine Guns has an embellished M600 12 for $750. I expect Gurney to discount it if it does not sell soon. I’m finding you really need to do your research. There is a SKB following as are the strong Browning and Beretta camps.

A $1000 budget can easy get a man a fine O/U shotgun to run with the big dogs.

If I procrastinate long enough my fire will smolder till next year. I’m buying a couple boxes of AA #7-1/2’s and a case of birds. I hope to shoot some paper plates and see how the patterns look.
