Reeder Custom Guns - Yesterday we finished a very special one of a kind (sorta)

for one of our favorite Misfits. The gun is the prototype of the new series. Here is the series...

I thought it fit him perfectly. Here is the rest of the gun, a mix of color cased, stainless, satin Vapor Honed Black Chromex. Mongolian stag, satin Vapor honed stainless and maybe one or two things. I won't mention the Misfits name but his initials are Andy Strauss.

and I guess I should mention the scope that he sent with the frame is defective. I put one of my 3X scopes on it and it shot a nice little group but the Burris that came with the frame shot a nice little 2 foot group. Which is actually about normal for Andy.

based on a Ruger stretch frame and has a set back trigger. It is color cased with some stainless and some satin black Chromex parts. It has a muzzle brake and has a defective Burris scope on it. It features a Magnum gripframe.

I never favored that little "locking" knob on those. Maybe it will go back to working if that is backed off some. But they should fix it. Burris has always given me great service.

.375 GNR on the .445 SM case? Very unique as well.

super easy to load. Basically a 445 case necked down to 375. I use hard cast gas checked bullets in the 220 to 250 range. A 230 grain hard cast bullet at 2000 fps is good for just about anything on the North American continent. Animals like moose or Bison are easy with the 375 GNR.
