A high school friend took this about 1/2 mile behind my property. We have a 107 ac parcel that is wild and wooly. My bro.-in-law hunts it. Maybe I need to slip in on that action!

Nice deer Mr Brock. (Not him in photo, maybe his boy). Taken with a rifle or ML of some sort.

Tarsal glands on the hind legs that he slit to put in the gambrel hanger. They can contribute to the musky gamey taste that some bucks can have. Especially when you hang them up butt up. Its part of my field dressing procedure.
