I have 2 very special Contenders from an estate

Both of these guns were owned by a good friend that hunted all over the world with me with his custom Contenders. My friend, we'll call him Jack, died recently and his widow sent his Contenders to me to sell for her.
The first one is a full custom 45-70 that Jack used to take a Bison bull in Utah on a hunt with me and 3 others. The gun is a 12" 45-70 and has a Burris 3X scope on it. The Burris handgun scopes are beginning to be a rare scope these days with Burris pretty much throwing the handgun hunters under the bus.
This gun is a gun we built around 1990 for a hunt in Utah that the state put on to clean out some bulls that were destroying a rancher's property. They had 5 permits for these bulls and the rancher friend called me and asked if I had 4 friends that wanted to shoot a big buffalo bull with our handguns. I told him absolutely yes and we would be there in 2 days.
There were 5 of us and all used handguns. Each of us took a big Bison bull and had a great time. This was the first time we hunted Bison with a handgun. Jack took his buffalo with a 45-70 Contender with a 3X Burris scope on it.The gun has Pachmayr grips and forend on it. It was a full custom Contender back in 1990, maybe not as fancy as some of the guns we are building today but high tech back then. The gun is in very good condition as is the scope. Normally this gun would be priced around $1895 or a bit more but I have the custom 45-70 Contender with Burris scope priced at $1495.

This next gun is also from Jack's estate. It is a two toned Contender in 35 Remington. It has a 12 inch barrel and has Leupold base and rings and a 4X scope on it. Like the gun above this one is in very good condition as is the scope and both are ready for a hunt. Jack took several critters with this one. Here is the gun.








Like the gun above I would expect to see this package priced around $1800 or a bit more but I have the 35 Remington Contender with 4X scope priced at $1395.
