2 special S&W revolvers in 41 caliber. Normally S&W only builds revolvers in 2", 4", 6", 8" and 10". For some reason they did a very short run of 7½" revolvers with unfluted cylinders in their model 657 in 41 caliber. As I mentioned I was able to get 2 of them. One I immediately latched onto and rechambered into my 41 GNR and took a hog and a deer at the HHC a year or so ago. The other I decided to make a one of a kind (sorta) revolver out of (only one of a kind to sell). I rechambered it to our 41 GNR and did almost a full engraving on it. I did a slick action job on it and fit a Leupold base and rings to it. I brought one of my 2X Burris scopes in from home and mounted it to the gun (handgun scopes are beginning to be hard to find).
My version of this gun is one of my favorite hunting revolvers and is extremely accurate and slick. This one is just as smooth as mine and actually a bit nicer. Also this one in 7½" is immediately a highly sought after revolver.
So here you go. The 41 GNR is one of our most popular calibers and now it is wrapped up in a special S&W package. Going over all that has been done to
this revolver plus it being a very rare 7½", the gun should be priced at $3295. I have it priced at $2795.
