perfect Christmas present. This is the Crickett, a pint size little 22 LR single shot. This one is perfect to start a youngster up right. It is a very small 22 LR rifle, and also shoots 22 Short and 22 Long. Here it is compared to the size of the Ruger 10-22.

Here are it's features,,

This little rifle is brand new in the box. We normally sell them for $229 but I have this one Christmas sale priced at $179.

Those are super cool and accurate!

In the late 70's or 80's this fellow in Medford, OR was making these in his garage. "Boy's rifles" as it was called (Chipmunk). He used Douglas or Shilen top grade barrels too. I bought one of the very early run rifles with some very nice wood. It cost me $125 in 1980! I still have it.

I have shot just over 1" groups at 100 yds. with it! lol These are only 2-1/2 lbs. so small shooters can hold them better than a BB gun. Shooting CB caps they are great trainers in the back yard too.

Gary, I would like this for my grandson if it is still

Lead bullet, maybe 25 grains, using a minimal charge at 400-450 fps. Basically a .22 pellet gun. It makes basically no sound. Not very humane for anything other than small pest birds or cottontails. But great fun to peg cans or a gong in the back yard.

Works fine on cats.

right in the eye. The gun was a Marlin 783 bolt gun. It screamed, jumped and ran off. Surely dead somewhere away where it wouldn't stink. A month later he rolled up at the hunting shack to see the same looking cat again, this time it had something cornered. Upon inspection it was a large Diamondback rattlesnake by the entrance staircase. He shot the snake and left a present of some scraps for the cat. It stayed around and later he was able to inspect it. The yellow cat had a mark just below one eye and out the other side another mark. It was indeed the one he had shot. He befriended that "snake cornering cat" and it lived around there for many years exterminating vermin. Hurricane Bottoms in south east white county AR.

Yep. Ya gotta hit 'em where they live!
