I figure when he was first getting started perhaps. It’s a 1949 Winchester M70 chambered in 6.5x.270 Winchester. I’m not exactly certain but it sounds like a simple neck down keeping the .270 shoulder. I know JD is a 6.5 fan. The rifle is super slick and not really modified except for the re-barrel. I think the LGD was asking $1800?
Some interesting stuff out there to be discovered.
