There are lots of old beater Super Blackhawk .44’s out there. The “Black Widow” series packs a lot of options in there using worked over and customized factory parts. They could easily be redone in .45 Colt as well with a new barrel and cylinder rebore. There is always a use for a fine and handy 4-5/8” single action.
Your reworking .44 RedHawks with the gunfighter treatment are sublime.
Other platforms on Vaqueros as well. Shortening barrels, gunfightering and de-horning grip frames. Making .41’s and .44 Specials, .45 Colts out of mid-frame .357’s. Taylor throating and custom crown barrels turn factory stuff into Uber shooters!
Lots of options with minimal dependency on parts suppliers.
