The birds head with Dragoon type triggerguard and octagon, very cool. I don't like spiders much but I've always been attracted to the Black Widow package based on aesthetics. Gary goes all out on the hi-polish and finish.

Having a chosen Reeder build is like asking which kid is your most favored. It's gonna take a bit.

*Knowing the backstory on how Gary got bitten by a Black Widow spider as a youth is an important element. It's a historical footnote that does not need to be lost with time relating to these special customs. I think it adds something to them.

So as I began shortening it and load testing it also pulled the POI inward as well. When I got to the point I liked the six-O’clock picture and was hitting to my liking, I was good. Factory loads hit a little lower since recoil is not as much but it still right there. Even a lighter than 300 gr., a little faster, hits about the same place as the 300.

Regulating fixed sight guns with loadings is pretty easy when you think about it. Up and down anyway. That right and left is what’s tricky. If you can’t turn the barrel any more you are faced with shaving the correct side of the front sight or rear notch. One goes backward from the other and it’s hard to put back if you make a mistake! Yikes!

GNR guns than I do. And I don't think you shoot any of them. They look about as good as when I shipped them to you.

I throw my body between them and harm. A little holster wear here and there, very light, on sharp edges, muzzle or cylinder, but it’s subtle. Black Chromex wears very well.

I don’t know how many more I have, revolvers. Then, semi-autos, Lever guns, Bolt guns, Encores, Contenders. Doug mostly had the Ruger #1’s. But I got to shoot them a bunch. I went through a good spell where I was really stressed out. Maybe a 15-20 yr. patch, the customs helped me through. lol. It’s true.
