Is there any way to “pin” the grip safety on a Smith 9mm ez?

My wife has one, and like the 1911 it also has a thumb safety.

Sometimes, she has trouble making sure the grip safety is engaged.

Guess I was not too smart in not realizing this could be an issue.

Can this be done, or should I just get her to a new platform.

The Smith is easy for her to rack the slide so…

Thoughts appreciated.

Duct Tape?

It was a good idea but some don’t like it.

My wife and daughter instantly said “No!”, eliminating that from the selection pile. The Walther CCP was in the running until the SIG 365X was brought out. Glocks of any flavor were also ejected instantly from the possibilities. I let them pick and it’s the 365 for sure.

Just swap it for something she likes. Female hand ergonomics and hand strength are totally different from ours. If they pick it the conflict fence level goes way up as well. A female gun counter assistant garners points as well. Go look at something while the ladies sort things! You’ll be glad you did.
