We built 100 very special revolvers in our "John Taffin Classic" series.

We just bought out an estate and the old fellow had a very

special revolver in it. Several years ago we did a special run of custom revolvers that we named the John Taffin Classic in honor of John and all he has done for handgunners thru the years. It was a series of 100 guns and they sold out quick. Each gun was custom and built to the customer's specs and each one was numbered. In this estate sale we got #55 in the John Taffin Classic. The old fellow never shot it so it has only a few rounds thru it when I did the original test firing. The gun is chambered in 44 Special and has a 4½" barrel. It is finished in our deluxe Black Chromex and has ivory Corian grips. It has had the full Positive Performance Package and has the original target we shot. The gun is in one of our custom boxes and is exactly how it left us to ship to him. The old gentleman handled it as it was his baby and I am going to replace some of the gold inlay on the gun, but other than that it is just like it left here.
The John Taffin Classic is something you don't see every day and this one became the old gentleman's favorite. In the original series the gun was $1795 on the customer's base gun, so it would normally run around $2600. I have this beauty specially priced at $2195.

I am glad you did that while John was still really active.

the John Taffin Classic and she said she couldn't understand why anyone would pay $2000 for a gun with John's name on it.

For her part Dot received a .45 Schofield Model turned into a Border Classic with a 3-1/2” barrel, round-butted grip frame also with mastodon ivory grips, and the entire package finished in high polish bright blue with Diamond Dot engraved on it..
