has a much thicker rim than normal, between .075 to .085 whereas the standard accepted rim thickness is around.055, so that extra rim thickness has to be dealt with somehow.

I don't have a 45 AR reamer as I don't remember ever having anyone ask for the 45 AR rechamber in the 45 ACP cylinder. If it was a new cylinder and we had the 45 AR reamer there would be no problem. I guess if I could find a 45 AR reamer we could remove that extra .030 to make room for the 45 AR cartridge headspace. But I don't think that afterward the 45 ACP would work in that situation. I may be wrong there as I don't remember having that situation crop up.
