it's just opening the back door to shoot a few then close it again! I'm getting stir crazy in this cold. Getting older makes me get cold faster, I think!

Maybe figure a way to shoot in the shop like Jim.

We have them coming in to try and steal chickens .. chicken feed .. dog food .. whatever. You know how they are. I have put out traps and have gotten 4 in the last few weeks.

The traps

Chain the traps to a fencepost .. fill them with cat food .. catches 'em by the "hand" when they reach in for food. Small enough that the only thing you normally catch are coons and possums.

I use my Bearcat Shopkeeper to finish them.

just wait a bit. The Polar Vortex is headed our way and temps could and probably will drop 20 to 30 degrees from what they are today. We are having temps in the 10 degrees below zero right now and this new stuff doesn't look good. Apparently we won't get much if any snow out of it but you guys north and east of us are in for a "colder than a bitch wolf" weather.

starting Sunday I think it is. Temperatures in the 20's and highs in the 30's for most of the week. I know that ain't cold where you are but it's cold for here.

We have not had much moisture either.
