This next gun is a special one. S&W has always built their revolvers in 2", 4", 6", or 8", no odd numbered barrel lengths. A short while back they made one run of a very special 41 caliber model 657 in a 7½" barrel length. I managed to get 2 of them. I kept one for myself and slicked the other one up with almost full engraving and chambered in the 41 GNR, our most popular caliber. It has a 2X Burris scope on it and has had a nice action job. The gun should normally run just shy of $3000. I have it priced at $2195.
