spending today and probably most of tomorrow doing the Black Chromex finish on several guns. The Black Chromex is not a plating like some have thought since we developed it in 1987 and is not a black chrome plating as the name would suggest. It is simply a very high quality bluing that lasts much longer than standard bluing.
The end of year sale continues today up until the end of the day today. There are several guns and small items still on the end of year sale so have at it. If you have any questions, call Colleen if it needs taking care of right now.

we have tightened up everything we can ... got firewood next to the house ... made sure pipes are covered .. have the generator ready to go if it is needed ... have a heater in the chicken house .. and hoping that the cold weather stays north of us. But we are about as ready as we can be if it doesn't.

The temps will drop tomorrow evening all the way through Thursday below zero in the evenings. Very tough on the mules and the horse and will have to bring them into the barn. The thing I worry about most are potential freeze ups. not gonna be fun next week.
