It is just an exact copy of the 280 Ackley Improved and also a copy of our 280 GNR. It is the 7mm Backcountry. It is a "completely new" cartridge, no belt, a 20" barrel with a 165 to 170 grain bullet at 3000 fps. Looks like they are going backwards to me. They have just invented a cartridge that is an exact copy of 2 other cartridges, one of which is a handgun that is 200 FPS faster. Amazing.
