That you may not be interested in but perhaps gold if you find yourself in duch a situation. I’m in day 8 recovery from radical robotic prostatectomy. That is tolerable. However the resulting 12-14 days of catheter is more than trying. Things they don’t teach in school or tell you post OP. Usually there is a concern with ED or nerve damage. However I’m a bit younger than most and in relatively good health. I’ve found Mr. Johnson likes to awake several hours before me. A normal function for most males. However, with a catheter it institutes an urgent code red condition. Oh my. Just be aware such an outlandish predicament can manifest itself. The resulting discomfort can last a considerable spell. I’ve ordered some lidocaine crème to help. If you may be facing such a catheterization you might be proactive and ask for the crème ahead of the need. I sure wish I knew.
I know TMI, but we are all getting older. Sticking together is essential. Seriously getting this done pre-HHC was a factor. I can’t miss seeing my misfit family.
