I sported 8” Colt Pythons and he touted his 8-3/8” M27. I could not outshoot him no matter. He claimed he was just a little closer to the target. The Python has a fantastic rib and sight picture. But the special 27’s matted rib is even beyond that. We had good fellowship and sport ribbing each other over the contest. Sadly Dave passed too young, his 27 is now entrusted to me, with immeasurably fond, Colt vs S&W memories.
