You have to look close at Jim’s guns. They usually are well used and blue worn but under the skin, oh my! My buddy asked who is that guy Elmer Keith?! lol. Sort of. He was really wearing out the targets to good range. Limbaugh custom Ruger .45 Colt! I noticed it was also wearing the most priceless grips in existence, so it’s likely his actual favorite. The .41 must be #2!

I always watch Jim’s “Shootist” pistol packing. I don’t think he minds the photo for discussion. This year he brought his .480 Achilles (so thankful), his custom .22 Ruger, and the Limbaugh .45. The custom grips were scrimshaw by his lovely wife Mrs. Twyla, priceless. I wish so bad I could have commissioned her to do something for me.
