First animal I`ve taken since the October 2023 HHC.... This answered a lot of questions I had of myself since my surgery. Would I able to make the long car drive, would I be able to keep my shots on target, would I be able to hit the target, would the post op fatigue keep me out of the hunt. Thank the Good Lord that it all worked out. The shot was about 65 or so yards with my back against a tree stump. I think if the guide was next to me he would have not let me take it because of boar on either side of my target giving me about a square foot window to vital area. Anyway, I sat down, brought the 460 up to my knees and as soon as the crosshair was stable I "squeezed" the trigger to see him drop and let out a cloud of steam from exit wound. Thank you Jesus............... So happy my old friends were there to keep me on track and to find the right male...... I sat and rested back against tree stump to left of bent tree....[image][image][image]

Congratulations James!

you must like it. Do you find it as versatile as it seems? We shot one of the first ones at the Y-O (and a .500). They were doing something with gain twist Walther barrels, long ones. Not entirely successful, but they were figuring it out.

Good hunting good friends

It was so nice for you to reach out to me on your experiences. Brotherly love and comfort! Knowing folks who have been through something close and willing to offer encouragement is a blessing. I truly thank you for that. My experience has been very favorable, praise Jesus! But everyone is different.

If anyone has concerns, questions, a problem, PLEASE contact me privately (waterboyark - yahoo). Do not suffer alone. I’ve been shocked at how many Misfits have been through this experience as well. Many have rode the river and will be more than happy to help.

We care!!!
