This year I am taking only Shootists guns.

The first one we had Ruger make in 1994. Single Six Bisley .22 LR.

Only 52 of these were made. This one has never been cocked.
I have one that I have been shooting ever since we had them made and I will take it.

The 20th Anniversary gun is the USFA .44 Special. I had Persinger make the one piece walnut stocks for this one.

The 25th Anniversary gun is the Ruger flattop .44 Special Bisley.

The 30th Anniversary gun is the Ruger SR1911 .45 ACP.

I did not order the Marlin .38-55 or the Ruger .327 but I do have the 40th Anniversary gun on order and hope to take it. It is the Marlin 1894 Trapper in .45 Colt. They are supposed to start shipping them to us this month.

One other gun I am taking is my late wife's S&W 625 .45 Colt. She won this in the raffle at The Shootists Holiday in 1997.

An exceptional lineup, quite unique. I bet

Twyla was sitting tall all the way home! Lol

Yes, she loved it. But never shot it much.

I don't think it's had 300 rounds through it. It is accurate and it's easy to shoot!

It was the last one out of the factory. It was not the last one produced, but all the others had shipped before this one. It was held for The Shootists. I have the letter from the factory documenting when it was shipped, who shipped it and to whom.

I had a 5" 625 in .45 ACP model of 1988

Supposed to be a limited run, technically I guess it was. But they had a model of 1989 that was identical. lol

I would have liked the .45 Colt version for sure. The BIG holes make a really lively N-frame.

Sadly I traded it off (to Gary) for something important, I'm sure. Last I saw it was covered in snake scales in Reeder Custom fashion. It most have took him a good amount of time to align it all perfectly! It would be easy to spot.

I also "had" a 5" 629 Classic I traded in on a BMW motorcycle. An almost perfect real world .44 Magnum, IMO.
