The price is the main hold up, 50% the cost of the gun to begin. But it’s a completely different engineered system. I’d love to try one. I had a G20 with a good system installed ($150) and loved it. Should have kept it but it was the older huge frame version.
The Glocks can provide outstanding accuracy and overall performance. It’s mainly limited by the crude sights and trigger that stacks just at let-off and makes you shoot low left! Unless you practice your first round is going there. They are shooting machines, soulless, devoid of character except that realized by shooters who can appreciate the fantastic engineering design for purpose, and how we’ve adapted that for our varied uses.
Who can argue carrying a hot loaded 15+ shot 10mm or .45 into rough country. The little Goldilocks G19 is still a benchmark for CCW as well.
