of friends. Met the man in the early '80s through a mutual friend. If you know him, he's easy to like and easier to hang out with. I grew up in the misbegotten crotch of creation known as New Jersey, luckily, I escaped to Georgia at a young age. I had no hunting or gun opportunities as a youngster. Blake guided me and taught me how to hunt and things of that sort. Life goes around and things happen, I went off to do Uncle Sam's bidding and what not. Blake was out west doing his thing. A good number of years ago, I returned to GA and so did he. Went to see him. He started telling me about this Gary Reeder fellow. I said, hey, I know him, Sarasota FL right? He says no, Flagstaff AZ. Well I didn't know anything about AZ other than driving through it a time or two. As I'm leaving his house, he gives me a book about Handgun Hunting. I get home and as I'm looking at the pictures, I'm certain I know the guy who wrote it. Went to my Rolodex, yea I'm old, and found a business card for the Pistol Parlor in Sarasota. I'd stopped in there a bunch when I was stationed in FL. I emailed Gary and sho' nuff, same guy. Gary says, come to the HHC and I said I'd think about it. My two tax deductions were just starting to express and interest in hunting, so Blake says: Bring em to an HHC it will be great. And it was, in so many aspects. Well, that's it, just wanted to write about something that has been very important to me for many years. Thanks to Blake, Gary and all the Misfits.
