Reeder Custom Guns - The SP-101 I have in 327 has a long and thin

front sight dovetail that does not easily allow for replacements.... Looking around I could see that a removable Redhawk had enough of a metal base to fill the SP. Not having a shop, I filed until a good fit..... Its not perfect it but it gets you a little crazy knowing you were stuck with the fiber optic that came with the gun. If she`s to tall for adjustable rear I can file down..... Maybe I should apply to the Custom Gunmaker Guild for admission ;-) [image] [image]

Bought it, and the 8-shots. I have a M63 Kit gun but the silver red front is hard for me to see. Ruger really packed in those rims, no way could you fit 8 .22 WMR in there, rims won’t fit. It’s that tight.

I had an older SP101 in .32 H&R and re-chambered it to .327. I traded it off since I have two Reeder .327’s already. I liked its six shot capacity though. Still have the SP101 .22 and a .357.

Both need a good action smoothing. Nothing an hour and some polishing cloth wouldn’t fix. I’m reluctant to install the Wolff kit, but it’s pretty cheap. I like a good solid factory mainspring snap, they also include a softer return spring.
