My how time flies…

If you never have read Hamilton’s book, it’s sure worth the effort. It’s a trove of information on history and mechanics involving the revolver and custom work. Too much to really begin to describe. I purchased a hard copy of the first printing, then later at HHC, had Hamilton sign it for me. He’s a highly intelligent “man’s man”. We quickly found common ground stimulation to us both. We discussed our common ownership and affinity for Swedish dirt bikes, the .351 WSL, and 1884 11mm Mauser. I’m so thankful that Gary invited him.

Original hard copy first printing books can fetch $500 or more! Hamilton has a link on the Bowen website to obtain an Amazon digital copy for $10. Well worth looking it up. Where else can you find information on custom (like Jim Taylor’s) ovate ribbed barrels or Paradox contrivance (like Denning’s)? I learn something every time I pick the book up.
