Had a potential client offer me one for some legal services. They any good? Have not actually held it, believe it is a 223. Thanks.

More features, still a bit utility, great truck gun. .223 cal. is a bit limiting on game size but actually does pretty good all round. Great caliber to trade later. What you figuring, maybe 400 used tops trading? You are in a good position to barter. It might even have a scope or something extra.

I am tempted, but the 300 Blk would be a better all-around truck gun/Zombie gun, I do believe.

The 16” Ranch version. The second one had a removable insert for an AR mag adapter. Then they finally made an AR mag only version. The MKII has a fancier stock that’s adjustable. Some have trick barrels too.
Accuracy is generally fantastic. The later, more rigid stocks only more so. Mine is pretty flimsy, but it still shoots great.

When I was at the range a while back there was a fellow shooter who was sighting in this new rifle. I thought it was a semi custom due to the barrel profile and the stock design. '
He had one chambered in 223 Remington for varmints.
I am trying to recall but I do believe that it shot very well.

in 30-06. With factory Rem 150 gr core lokt it shot a .6" group at 100. Now I have handloaded some 165 gr BTSP on the high end and adjusted seating depth to the rifle. It will shoot 1" at 200 yards and putting them out at close to 3k. And with the muzzle break there is little recoil, comparatively. The ONLY thing you might need to do is clean up the trigger. They tend to be a little gritty from the factory but they have some adjustment to lighten them up.
