A well executed theme! Was there a FN HP Black Widow done?

When GUNS magazine did a big 2 page
spread on the original Black Widow based on a Blackhawk I took orders for Black Widows on just about every type and brand of revolver and semi auto made.
There was a big 2 page write up on the Black Widow in another magazine about the same time and they showed even more pictures on the gun. Then they mentioned that the Black Widow was available however you like and it really went crazy then. That was when I brought out the Black Widow 2 based on a Vaquero.
Since then the gold spider has sort of become our trademark. Folks order guns that are totally different from the original Black Widow and insist that I put one or more of our gold spiders on there.
A few years back when we moved out here in early 1994 I had a new Ford Bronco. I had it fancied up a bit with a high polish black paint job and had a big gold Black Widow on each side.

Black Widow
I have a black widow on the slide of my Colt 1911 that was an early Kase build. I bought from a Forum Member here. Great Shooter and everyone who handles it remarks on the widow ! ![[image]](images/uploaded/202506051704036841ce031d29f.jpg)
