Crazy custom Lee die?

This came with the Bowen Paradox .45 conversion. It’s a Lee .460 S&W FL sizer but it’s counter bored, looks almost like for a belted round? Works fine. At first I thought the carbide insert might have fallen out, but it’s not carbide. Unless the. carbide portion is just a thin insert, that could have fallen out?
