While Traveling Last Week I Picked Up A .45

I had been looking for one and ran across a Cimarron Firearms .45 Colt with an ACP cylinder. They had a $450 price tag on it and I said, "I will take it!

The salesman asked if I was a Veteran and I told him I was and he said, "We will take 20% off the price!"

I shot it first with the .45 Colt cylinder.

This was the best group of the day. The worst was less than 2" and due to the nut on the grip. I tried 4 different loads and bullets and they all hit about the same place.

Later I took it out with the .45 ACP cylinder.

This is about where all the ACP loads I tried hit .. roughly 2" below POA. That's to be expected with the lighter bullet.

I fired this group standing, two-hand hold. The group above was fired resting the gun. I noted there wasn't that much difference between resting the gun and shooting it standing.

Blame it on the old guy on the trigger.

ooops .. another mistake ... left out what I have done to the pistol.

I installed a Heinie trigger and bolt spring.

I like these.

I noted the gun is made by Pietta and is finished inside with no casting marks or boogers.
