I got sick. I was hoping it was allergies but it got worse as the day went.

Pushed through and had a 10.2 mile track to some Buffalo on the top of a mountain.

Last 50 m were on hands and knees and then we were close enough to hear them breathe

Then the wind betrayed us and they took off in a stampede all over the place like an old cowboy movie.

On the way back in the afternoon, dripping snot all over my gun and trying to see through sticky eyes, I dropped a big black wildebeest at about 125 yards.

He ran for a bit and I hit him again while he was running and that dropped him

Going to bed early and taking some drugs.
