Shootists 40th Anniversary Marlin Trapper .45 Colt and the Cimarron .45 Colt sixgun.

A friend gave me some funny-looking bullets so I loaded some over 8.5 gr. Unique. From the Cimarron at 25 yards.

So far the Marlin prefers the SSK 270 gr. cast flat point.

I know Marlin made Trappers before ... these were a special order for The Shootists, celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the group. They are the first .45 Trappers made since Ruger took over the Marlin company.

When you buy bulk surplus. I like BLC-2 and H335 in many Reeder med. and large single shot platforms. Med. rifles too.

scam scam. I just placed an order for these GREAT deals, (1st clue) going to get them all hot and bothered, go to pay, all electronic pay types. (2nd and most obvious clue) No way to pay with credit card or anything but electronic means. They're getting smarter though as they don't list a specific address (3rd clue) Ive street viewed these types of places before, always a rundown warehouse district type building, which is usually abandoned and oh so empty.
