Just saw this yesterday. The November issue will be the last one printed. There will be some sort of online arrangement to come.
American Handgunner, as well.

Man that is sad! End of an era. I understand though.

I remember as a boy awaiting each month for new issues to hit the news stands! I’d usually be with my mother at the store. It would make my week. I finally got subscriptions out of economy, but the mailman often roughed up my copy. Maybe he read it a couple days before final delivery. I always suspected that!

Give it some time but most likely all magazines will go away in favor of being much cheaper online. Glossy magazines are not cheap to produce and most are just full of ads now.
I miss some of what I used to read but mostly I miss the watch catalogs that were more like coffee table books that I used to receive multiple times a year without asking. Sitting in front of a screen just isn't the same.
Taffin's last book, a true coffee table read...

He didn't get to bask in it's success much, but I think he knew he had something when he completed it. All 600 pages! I cannot think of any modern work, digital or otherwise, that comes even close to Smallbores. We all have a tenure of big-bores but eventually come back to the little guns for enjoyment and pleasurable hunting experiences. For $60 it is an incredible bargain, sure to increase in value. Both monetarily and as a desired resource.
If a publisher wanted to follow suit there is plenty of room for following the model on a targeted subject. Just solicit popular online producers. The old masters are getting far and few between.
Just received the November issue.

I'll be receiving a refund check . . . sometime.
Hate this. GUNS was my favorite magazine.
