I am getting my gear together for my usual week long deer hunt at a friend's ranch in Goldthwaite TX next week. Taking my usual Reeder Backpacker in 45 Colt and a .308 Savage for longer range. Hogs continue to be a problem at the ranch so should have opportunities for them as well as deer.
