ten years ago! They had special sections with selective breeding for larger world class bucks. They could wander all over the 40,000 acres of course but they had it figured out how to promote them staying in certain home areas. Part science, part luck, their business is very interesting. How a guide could see a deer run across the road in front of us and likely guess what it could score within reasonable percentage of error always amazes me. I don't think it is BS either. The guide accessed my Blackbuck to the inch, luck, skill? We'll never know, but I know what HE was claiming. lol
