I know some like to shoot them at long ranges, but this rig is a ton of fun for those things. [image]

TC Contender with Super 14 .22 WRM barrel. Old Redfield 2-6 x scope.

Mystery Ranch daypack. It makes a great field rest.

Nice!

I like that rig. I used to have 10" octagon .22 WMR

But a friend gave me a .17 HMR 14" that mimic's the trajectory of my .378 GNR. That tiny 17 gr. pill will make 2600 fps. Pop cans at 200 are easy if the wind isn't blowing. The 16" .22 K-Hornet isn't bad either pushing a 30 gr. at 3000 fps.

I've always wanted to go Prairie Dog hunting.

I'm planning to have Gary

cut and thread the Super 14 to 12 inches and thread it for my suppressor.

I do plan to go out to Wyoming again in the future and spend a month hunting for anything that is legal.

I like "hunting" them as opposed to long range shooting them. It helps me practice my hunting skills. Wyoming isn't noted for its treestand hunting if you know what I mean.
