Any of you run an AR in 223?

Have some loads or powder you’d recommend? I have a 1x8” Ruger SR556 and I’m going to reload for that. Anything 55-70ish bullet weight. Appreciate any experiences.
Lots of great options. I like H335 and AA2520

Ball type powders or short stick are best for me. I don’t like powder “bridging” at the case mouth. I also like versatility. I might want to load some others with the same. FYI a pound of powder will generally load up around (200) rounds of .223, give or take a bit. I think I’ve used RL15 some too.
It’s pretty hard to get it wrong. I’ve never used “small” base dies but they should be great if available. Just always full length resize. I seldom find an AR anything that won’t shoot close to 1 MOA. $300 or $3000 they ALL shoot way better than they should. Have fun!
Good idea on 2520

There are just so many powders to choose from and it seems almost none of them are bad.
Years ago I was buying a lot of military powder from

GI Brass.com They sell military brass, bullets and powder. The powder was over-runs in 8 lb kegs. At the time I bought large quantities of Winchester 296 which they said was the powder loaded in 5.56 ammo for the military. We bought 100 lbs of the powder at the time and weighed it out and transferred it to one lb jugs. It is a very fine ball powder that flows out of the hopper like grains of salt. I had already been using 296 for years before I knew it was the military's choice in powder. I used it in loading for my Auto Mags as it is a fine powder that is very clean. I loaded for several calibers and several bullet weights. I am sure some of the guys on here can give you an idea on the best powder weight for 55 to 72 grain bullets. Sean Harper loaded for all the GNR calibers and I am sure he can pass along a good load for the 5.56. I trust Sean as he knows more about loading than anyone I know of.
