I've not handled the NEW Python

By nature I'm a skeptic, as I have owned a half-dozen of them over the years in all barrel lengths except for the 3". I did briefly have a 2.5". Back in the late 1970's - early 80's they were $400-600 used. But the accuracy rivaled a rifle (1.5" MOA) and there is nothing like the slickness of a "real" Python, glass honed by a fellow in leather apron and very thick spectacles. I'm curious how the CNC and cast parts age has transitioned this old name and platform.

The "King Cobra" and later "Troopers" and "Lawmen" were examples of transitioning to coil springs and injection molded metal parts. They were OK guns and still command silly prices. S&W really clobbered them though, Dan Wesson too back in the day.

Anyone have real, late, experience?
